You'll arrive at our welcoming reception area, where our staff will greet you and guide you through any questions. We provide a locker to keep your valuables, and booties to cover socks. Please wear wear comfortable, clean clothing—think yoga attire or loungewear. The salt does get everywhere! So, lighter clothing might be best.
Once inside the salt room, settle into one of our ergonomic wooden loungers designed for maximum comfort. Soft, warm lighting from our Himalayan salt walls creates an amber glow. MP3 players preloaded with curated music enhance the tranquil atmosphere. The temperature is maintained at a comfortable 68-72°F with low humidity.
For the next 45 minutes, simply breathe normally and relax. You might read, meditate, stretch, listen to music or a guided session through our provided headphones, or simply close your eyes and drift. Some clients describe a subtle taste of salt or a slight tickle in the throat—both completely normal and signs the therapy is working.
The halogenerator operates quietly in the background, continuously dispersing salt aerosol throughout the room. You won't see clouds of salt (it's far too fine for that), but you may notice a very light, barely visible haze and the faint, clean scent of the ocean. It's encouraged to remain in the room for the duration of the session to avoid opening the door which would create and air exchange.
When your session ends, we will raise the lighting. You'll emerge feeling refreshed, with clearer breathing and a profound sense of calm. Many clients describe it as "meditation you can feel in your lungs."
